The Medicine Clinic and the Surgery Clinic are part of specialized care and operate at both locations of Blekinge Hospital in Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

The clinics' mission is to provide residents with specialized care and treatment in surgical and internal medicine areas. We are a process-oriented knowledge organization characterized by competent employees, high quality of care, a willingness to develop, engagement, responsibility, and participation. The clinics consist of both care departments and specialist outpatient clinics.

About the Job

For the summer of 2026, the Medicine Clinic and the Surgery Clinic are looking for social workers based in Karlskrona. Your tasks will include psychosocial treatment work consisting of crisis and support conversations with patients and relatives, advice and guidance on social issues, as well as contacts with other healthcare providers and partners.

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or completed field education in the social work program. Previous experience in healthcare is an advantage. The work requires good language skills in Swedish as you will communicate with patients, relatives, colleagues, and authorities, both verbally and in writing. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
